The Mini Rex is a dwarf Rex rabbit that had been preserved
through selected breeding to produce the Mini Rex we see today.
In 1988 the Mini Rex was accepted by ARBA as a new breed.
Soon other varieties started to pop up and were approved. In
1994 the Tri-color Mini Rex was accepted by ARBA under the
broken variety.
Here at Little Long Ears we raise the Blue Eyed White (BEW)
variety of the Mini Rex. This is a wonderful breed that has the
quality of the regular Rex fur but in a smaller package. The
senior bucks can weight between 3 to 4-1/4lbs, while the does
can weight between 3-1/4 to 4-1/2lbs.
With all of the Mini Rex colors available, the BEW Mini Rex is
a rare color.
